At the NFTS we believe creative talent shouldn’t be held back. That’s why we provide generous scholarships and bursaries with support from benefactors, such as the Leverhulme Trust that offers £100,000 a year to students who can’t afford the fees.
And we’re very excited to have a £5000 Northern Ireland Screen Scholarship available for successful Northern Ireland applicants for the one-year Production Management diploma course at NFTS. In 2012, the NFTS was able to offer students from all over the world 61 scholarships from 35 separate donors totaling £331,500 and bursary support of £322,835. And 85% of UK students received financial support because we believe investing in behind-the-camera talent today will guarantee a successful British film industry tomorrow.
